Anthony Thigpenn: “There are several kind of technology that we use. Probably the most important is the database, information management. And the beauty of this is that that’s technology that’s accessible to almost any organization. There are many proprietary software packages that are very expensive. We don’t use them. We use basically a Microsoft Access shell and you tailor it accordingly. And you can do all kinds of queries and make it as sophisticated and as simple as you want, but that’s the core. That allows you to do the targeting, to produce information for people that they can use to talk to folks, and to capture the information and track it and coordinate it accordingly.”
