Henry Serrano: "To be honest, I think the most effective way for us to look at the evaluation quantitatively is to see if the people we talked to voted. And in that case, it’s been pretty successful.  In primaries we’ve noticed it’s been anywhere at a rate of three times what other people in the district voted, in general elections it’s been about double.  Which is, to me, the clearest indication that the messaging is working. […] I think the qualitative stuff comes afterwards. I think it comes around the work the organizer does after the election to move people deeper into the organization."
