Bineshi Albert: "I think as a benefit this has provided us as an organization a lot more credibility with elected officials. They have seen that not only are we as a community organization working on a sacred site issue but that we have an interest beyond that issue and have an interest in continuing to better the community. And so some folks have really started to pay attention to us and know us when they see us coming. Even at the state legislature if there’s an issue coming up and they see one or two people even with a NAVA button they’re like, What issue are you guys concerned about today? So we know we’re on the right side. And I think for the community it’s really provided that much more sense of community."
