Robby Rodriguez: "We have a tendency in our organizations to be democratic, like ultra-democratic to the point where sometimes the process overtakes the work. And I think one of the things that we’ve learned as an organization is that there’s a time and place for that process to happen and there’s also a time and place for a different type of decision-making structure to be implemented. So I think if folks are clear about that it makes for the work to be carried out a lot easier, even when there are disagreements about certain decisions that get made. So if we’re clear that, yes, these are the decisions that we’re going to be made as a big group, these are the decisions that are going to be made as a smaller group, these are the decisions that may be made by one or two people, and we’ll be able to evaluate all those decisions after the election."
